Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) is a type of payment method that withdraws funds directly from the customer's bank account. You can set up recurring withdrawls using a payment plan on your invoice or do a one time PAD payment. PAD payment processing fees from Stripe, Communal's payment processor are also significantly less and max out at $5/transaction. This can be used strategically to avoid credit card fees on large invoices.
