Sending mass emails and maintaining up-to-date newsletter lists can be challenging, even when using a system like MailChimp. However, Communal is specifically designed to address both of these issues. If you don't currently have an email provider, Communal provides a user-friendly and efficient way to engage with your diverse user base. Alternatively, if you are already using MailChimp or a similar system, Communal can seamlessly integrate with it, eliminating the need to manually add members to your newsletter database.

How to Send a Mass Email:

  1. Select the People tab on the left-hand side of the admin portal then Notifications.
  2. Click Create new notification.
  3. Select your audience.
  4. Give your notification a title
  5. Fill out all other necessary fields.
  6. Select Preview before sending.
  7. Review the information then click Send.
Note: You must select an audience and give your notification a title before saving the draft or it will not save
