How to Create an Account Without an Email

Creating accounts when no email was provided

Communal allows you to create accounts for your users; however, there are times when the person does not want to provide an email. As you likely noticed, the system requires an email for all accounts as it is the unique identifier to differentiate the accounts. Therefore, if no email was provided, you'll need to add an invalid email address to the system. We would recommend keeping a similar pattern for these emails (e.g., invalid-<<ORGNAME>>##@invalid.com) as it will make them easier to identify when performing searches.

It is worth noting that these invalid emails will still need to be unique, which is why a number is present in the recommended sequence.
